Conclusions

There is no doubt that online social networking has greatly affected modern social relationships and questioned our definitions of friendship and how we see ourselves in relation to other people. Online we are allowed to define ourselves by presenting the person we want the internet to see. While we may call our online relationships "frends," my survey shows that many people don't consider these friends the same as friends they see and interact with everyday.
